Los Derechos de la Infancia y El Papel de Las Familias En Su Protección: Perspectiva Ética y Jurídica.Olaya Fernández Guerrero, María Isabel Martínez López, Remedios Álvarez Terán, Noelia Barbed Castrejón & Iratxe Suberviola Ovejas - 2023 - Childhood and Philosophy 19:01-24.

Background Social justice is recognized by reputable international organizations as a professional nursing value. However, there are serious doubts as to whether it is embodied in Catalan nursing education. Objectives To explore what nursing students take away from two teaching activities led by expert patients (one presentation and three expert patient illness narratives) on the topics of social justice, patient rights, and person-centered care. The informed consent is an ethical and legal requirement for potential participants to enroll in a study. There is ample of evidence that understanding consent information and enrollment is challenging for participants in clinical trials. On the other hand, the reasoning process behind decision-making in HIV clinical trials remains mostly unexplored. This study aims to examine the decision-making process of people living with HIV currently participating in antiretroviral clinical trials and their understanding of informed consent. 15. Invariance of the Trait Emotional Intelligence Construct Across Clinical Populations and Sociodemographic Variables.Pablo Alejandro Pérez-Díaz, Denisse Manrique-Millones, María García-Gómez, Maria Isabel Vásquez-Suyo, Rosa Millones-Rivalles, Nataly Fernández-Ríos, Juan-Carlos Pérez-González & K. V. Petrides - 2022 - Frontiers in Psychology 13.
Recent research has shown that cultural, linguistic, and sociodemographic peculiarities influence the measurement of trait emotional intelligence. Assessing trait EI in different populations fosters cross-cultural research and expands the construct’s nomological network. In mental health, the trait EI of clinical populations has been scarcely researched. Accordingly, the present study examined the relationship between trait EI and key sociodemographic variables on Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire datasets with mental healthcare patients from three different Spanish-speaking countries. Collectively, these datasets comprised 528 participants, 23% (...)

This paper, intended as an introduction to the series of letters that follows it, is a summary sketch of Rosa Luxemburg's personality, drawn against the background of the culture of her time. It suggests that if Rosa is a character so rich and interesting, this is due to the combination, present in her upbringing, of the Bildungsbürgertum with the revolutionary atmosphere coming from Russia.O presente texto, que serve de apresentação à série de cartas traduzidas pela A. e publicadas a seguir (...)

Rosa Luxemburg's interpretation of Marxism as the unity between theory and practice sets the basis of her "theory of revolutionary action". That expression can be said to encapsulate her political thought, which was developed in an uninterrupted polemic with the economicist determinism of the Second International.

Business ethics is one of the most significant demands made by institutional and individual investors, who usually require the participation of the board of directors in the planning and implementation of ethical behaviour in corporations. This is done by drawing up an ethics code and then monitoring its fulfilment. This study has a dual objective: first, to analyse the role played by the composition of the board of directors, and by that we mean its independence and the diversity of its (...)

This paper presents a study on how corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategies create value amongst family and non-family firms. Additionally, in our study, we considered the moderating effect of independent directors on the relationship between CSR and firm value. Based on data drawn from companies operating in 61 countries over an 11-year period (i.e. from 2010 to 2020), our findings demonstrate that non-family firms derive market benefits from the governance improvements made by independent directors concerning CSR strategies. The necessity, understood as the totality of the possibility, allows Leibniz to reach the final formulation of the ontologic argument to demonstrate the existence of God, as well as to describe the essence of the Absolute.
